Equipment

  • 1 Bowl (for marination)
  • Non Stick Pan or Grill (for cooking steaks)

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Large chicken breasts (boneless)
  • 2 Eggs (slightly whisked)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1 cup Onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
  • Flour (enough to make a thin coating)
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Oil (to pan fry)

Notes

  1. Wipe the chicken breasts and beat with a mallet or a knife to flatten.
  2. Cut each into two pieces.
  3. Mix the chicken with the other ingredients, except oil.
  4. Put aside to marinate for 2 hours or so.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan or grill with a thin layer of oil.
  6. When hot, place as many pieces of chicken without them touching each other, turning over at once. If your dish is not big enough to take in all the pieces together, you may have to do them in two lots.
  7. Lower the heat and cook till tender and brown on both sides, turning when one side is done.
  8. Serve hot with stir fry finely chopped vegetables (carrots, capsicums)
Whole Wheat Pasta

Whole Wheat Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Equipment

  • Kitchen Utensils (Tongs, Big sized Pot/Pan)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pack whole wheat pasta
  • 2 oz Chicken (julien cut)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes chopped (you can use 2-3 regular tomatoes also)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4-5 Basil leaves (optional)

Notes

  • For the pasta boiling:
  1. Heat water with ½ teaspoon of salt added in it.
  2. Boil the pasta. This should take about 2 minutes.
 
  • For vegetables:
  1. Cut chicken, capsicums and carrots in Julien cuts.
  2. Add olive oil in pan, and put garlic in it until golden
  3. Add chicken in it and fry until cooked
  4. Add spices and sauces according to your flavors
  5. Now add in all the cut vegetables and mix thoroughly.
 
  • For the sauce:
  1. Heat some oil in a pan. Add garlic, Saute.
  2. Add the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Add some basil leaves. Add a dash of water and saute it a little to bring out the flavor.
  4. Strain the pasta out and add it to this pan.
  5. Add the vegetables mixture too.
  6. Mix it well. Remember not to overcook the pasta while boiling it because it cooks in the pan also when you add it to the sauce.
  7. Mix well and serve hot.
